This Vendôme non-alcoholic Merlot organic is a red wine made from Spanish Merlot grapes from La Mancha and is also vegan.

The Vendôme 0.0 red wine is balanced in flavor with lingering tannins and a dry finish. The deep red ruby color makes you feel like you are enjoying red wine with alcohol. You taste aromas of black currants, blackberries, cherries and plums. This non-alcoholic Merlot comes out best when lightly chilled. This Merlot without alcohol contains only 18 kcal per glass.

How was this wine made alcohol-free?

After the fermentation process, the red wine is slightly heated to about 30 degrees, causing the alcohol to evaporate under pressure. This is how this wine is made alcohol-free. By heating it at a low temperature, the wine retains its grape flavor.

What is organic wine?

No chemical pesticides, fertilizers or genetic modification are used in the production process. The Vendôme 0.0 Chardonnay white wine is made from organically grown grapes. This method is also better for the environment also because it limits the use of sulfite in organic wines. Skal Bio Control Foundation is the independent regulator of organic products.

What is vegan wine?

After the fermentation process, the wine is mostly cloudy. To make vegan wine clear, or clarify, the winemaker uses clarification products that are not of animal origin. It actually does exactly the same thing as animal clearing products, but it is completely plant-based and thus suitable for vegans!
